• One-on-one conversation with an examiner
• Questions get progressively more complex
Task Type:
Informal Chat- Hobbies, daily life, family, interests
Discussion- Expressing opinions (e.g. public transport, technology)
Hypothetical Problem- "What would you do if…?" scenarios
Formal Dialogue- Explaining, arguing a point, structured talk
Format:
• Pre-recorded audio (not repeated)
• Examiner asks questions after each section
Audio Type:
Everyday Conversations- For example booking an appointment
Instructions- For example workplace procedures
Interviews- For example radio program or a formal talk
Narratives- For example storytelling, news story
Format:
• Range of texts from simple to complex
• You answer questions about each text
Text Type:
Informal Texts- For example Notes, signs, personal emails
Informational Texts- For example Brochures, leaflets, ads
Academic/Complex Texts- For example News articles, reports, essays

• True/False
• Short answer
• Summarizing
• Explaining meaning or purpose
Format:
• 2 Writing Tasks (1 informal, 1 formal)
• Typed or handwritten (depending on test center)
